Desde luego es lo que siento últimamente, el cerebro blandito y con poca inclinación a pensar... por eso hoy os dejo con estas dos ideas para el veranito. No he descubierto la pólvora pero son fresquitas y el mejor ejemplo de mi doble personalidad: colorida un día, oscura el siguiente. Y es que las calaveras me tiran mucho...

That's what I feel lately, soft brains and no ideas whatsoever... that's why today I leave you these two ideas for summer. It's not ground breaking but they're fresh and a good example of my two personalities: shiny one day, dark the next one. Because I love myself a skull...

♥ New blogs = love ♥

El otro día decía en mi twitter que hay veces que descubro blogs, y no sé si alegrarme o deprimirme por que mi blogroll ya es gigante y no tengo tiempo casi para verlos. Pero hay algunos que me parecen adictivos y no puedo evitar añadirlos a la lista y enamorarme de ellos.

The other day I said on twitter that sometimes I discover blogs and I don't know if get happy or sad, because my blogroll is already enormous and I almost don't have time to read them all. But there are some that I find addictive and I can't help to put them in my list and fall in love with them.

Eso me pasó el otro día con Atlantic-Pacific, al que llegué por casualidad a través de Tumblr. LA primera foto que ví me engancho y cuando entré en el blog lo tuve que ver casi entero, por que las combinaciones que aparecen me encantaron.

That happened to me the other day with Atlantic-Pacific, which I stumble upon with thanks to Tumblr. The first outfit I saw hooked me up and when I entered the blog I had to saw it almost complete, because the combinations are lovely.

Espero que a vosotros también os guste. ¿Os ha pasado alguna vez, conocer un blog y que os enganche inmediatamente? ¿Conocéis alguna ego-blogger que no sea española y os haya gustado por que los estilos son totalmente diferentes? Yo creo que parte del encanto de Atlantic-Pacific es que puede llevar el barroquismo a un nivel "llevable" día a día, y me parece que las que mejor saben llevarlo son las americanas. ¿Qué pensais vosotras?

I hope you like it either. Did it happened to you sometime, seeing a blog and get addicted right away? Do you know any ego-blogger who isn't spanish, and who you like because their styles are completely different? I think a big part of the charm of Atlantic-Pacific is that she takes the baroque style to a wearable, day to day look, and I think the ones who are able to pull it off better are the american girls. What do you think?

Esta semana ha sido un poco complicada, mucho trabajo y todavía no tengo horario de verano, así que no he tenido energías ni para levantar la tapa del ordenador cuando llegaba a casa... Y el fin de semana no he parado en casa, no he podido ni ir a las Jornadas de Blogs de Moda :( Pero esta semana es la última que trabajo por la tarde de modo que ¡por fín! tendré tiempo libre para postear y visitar los blogs, que ni siquiera eso puedo hacer. Un poco de paciencia, que como dijo Terminator: ¡volveré!

This week has been a little bit complicated, I've had a lot of work and I still work full day, so I didn't even had the energy of time to open the laptop when I get home... And the weekend I almost hadn't been home, I couldn't even go to the Jornadas de Blogs de Moda :( But this week is the last one I work in the evenings so I could finally! have some spare time to post and visit blogs, cause I even can't do that. A bit of patience please, as Terminator said: I'll be back!

So sick of colour block

Pues sí, una de las tendencias que más me gustaban y me apetecían, ahora me aburre una barbaridad... Es lo que pasa cada siempre, ves una cosa y la adoras pero 4.523.726 looks iguales después, pues como que cansa un poco. Así que ahora he decidido (sin dejar de profesar amor incondicional a los colores flúo) que me apetece más el rollo étnico y folk.

Así que este verano me pido:

- Una camisa con bordados estilo mexicano.
- Unas sandalias chunky de cuero y madera.
- Una falda con estampado ikat.
- Unas sandalias con flecos.
- Un bolso folk, de colores bordado y con borlas.
- Unas pulseras de borlas de Stella Rittwagen, en colores. Si son flúo, mejor.

Estas son las "piezas clave", por que por supuesto (y por desgracia) las sandalias de Philip Lim no están a mi alcance... :) Y a vosotros, ¿os sigue gustando el color block, o estáis ya un poco cansadas? ¿Qué look os apetece más este verano?

Yes, one of the trends I liked the most and feel like wearing, now bores me to death... It happens almost every time, you see something and you love it but after 4.523.726 identical looks, it's not exactly groundbreaking. So now I've decided (without stop giving unconditional love to fluo colours) that now I prefer a look more ethnical and folk.

So this summer I need:

- An embroidered mexican caftan.
- A pair of chunky wood and leather sandals.
- An ikat skirt.
- A pair of fringed sandals.
- A folk bag, with bright colours and tassels.
- A few coloured tassel bracelets from Stella Rittwagen. The brightest the better.

These are the "key items", because of course (and sadly) the Philip Lim sandals are not in my budget... :) And you, do you still like the colour block, or are you tired of it? Which is your favourite look this summer?

Arizona Muse for Madewell: those brows strikes my fancy!

Ya os enseñé en otro post a Bambi Northwood-Blyth por que estaba totalmente in love con sus cejas. Estuve a punto de hacer otro de Arizona Muse, que para mí es musa total (jeje, que gracia tengo...) por que también tiene unas cejas fantásticas pero no quería repetirme. Sin embargo, cuando descubrí este lookbook de Madewell me encontré con la excusa perfecta para sacarla: las fotos son geniales y especialmente estos looks me pirran (¡necesito ese jersey de rejilla!). ¿Que os parecen? ¿Os gusta Arizona Muse, o creéis que será flor de un día? ¿Conocíais Madewell?

I've already showed you Bambi Northwood-Blyth in an earlier post because I was completely enamorada of her brows. I was about to make another one of Arizona Muse, who for me is a total muse (haha, I'm so funny....) because she also has amazing brows but I didn't want to repeat myself. Although, when I discover this Madewell lookbook I found the perfect excuse to feature her: the pics are great and this looks are undoubtely my favourites (I need that mesh tee!). What do you think?
